Data used
- Account data required for authentication.
- Ride name, session status and private share code.
- Precise GPS coordinates during an active ride.
Who can view location
People who receive the private link can view the available position during an active session without creating an account. The public endpoint does not return the rider’s email or private profile fields.
Control and retention
A rider can pause, resume or end a ride. Coordinates older than two minutes are not shown publicly, and the latest coordinate is deleted when the ride ends.
Offline cache
The service worker stores only the offline page, icons and immutable application assets. API responses, authentication routes and private live-ride pages are deliberately excluded.
Recommendation
Treat a ride link as private information. End the ride when you no longer want your location to remain available.
